THE THIRTEENTH HOLE
Hate it or love it, everyone who has played Cambridge remembers the 13th. It offers either the perfect opportunity for an easy two or the chance to hit the many surrounding beaches! While under 100m off both tees, this hole is anything but simple. From a raised tee you must hit directly into the wind, down to a small, well-protected green. Even once on the green you often still have a lot of work left. A misplaced tee shot can leave you with a 50 foot, down-hill, triple breaker, which if you hit too hard you'll finish in a bunker!
Tip: Have a second thought about your club selection if the wind is up. A punched 7 iron will usually be a better choice than a smashed wedge.
