THE SIXTH HOLE
A classic example of what beauty golf at Cambridge has to offer, the Sixth boasts spectacular views over the Waikato river and surrounding countryside. Out of bounds dominates this hole, with a steep bank just a few metres off the left-hand side of the green. A well struck iron will see you safely on the green with a putt for 2. Often however a short chip can be an easier prospect than a long putt on this hole - the green is long and slopes steadily from front to back.
Tip: This tip is pretty obvious, but it is often overlooked - aim right enough. A little uphill chip is always better than playing 3 off the tee.
