THE EIGHTH HOLE
The second of the par 3s on the front nine, the Eighth is set over one of the many valleys that snake their way through the course. From the tee the green appears as a peninsula jutting out towards you which makes this hole seem much longer than the 155 on the card.
An errant shot in any direction will leave a very difficult pitch up the bank to a green that you can barely see, so accuracy should be your focus on this hole.
Tip:Â There is no problem at the back of the green - if need be, hit two extra clubs to make sure you get there. It is very difficult to salvage a par from the bottom of the bank.
